what a strange quirk you'll find in those
so soundly conquered
survival
and become obsessed with failing it
and what if it was you right now
let's make it you right now
and see how you like it
give it up
this is the cost
of your actions
look in the mirror how does it feel?
how weird it is
your own death on your conscience
what a wit we've beheld in him
whose self expression betrays him
as one who hopes for death
and what if it was you right now
what if that was you right now
let's prove its you right now
and see how you like it
give it up
this is the cost
of your actions
look in the mirror how does it feel?
how weird it is
your own death on your conscience
we'll leave some rope for them to follow you

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
Brilliantly unhinged hardcore-inspired songs that splinter expectations to smithereens with their split-second rhythm changes & wild vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 28, 2022
Polish trio Melisa combine elements of noise rock, grindcore, mathcore, and sludge with lyrics that balance between poetic and political. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 21, 2022
This one also took me a while to get into. It strikes me as less HC than Untitled and less poppy than Ultrapop (stupid I know). Let's call this the No Wave record. Its musical (and amusical) density is matching the persistent sound in my head right now. barnaby nygren
