Sippy sippy sippy goes the midship captain
steering it is not his forte
but what is devotion?
no no no no no no no no no
I'm off
kilter
you're not
listening
Lonely Zanzibar
a patron of
good swashbuckling
ROPE SWING
sippy sippy sippy goes the thirsty horsie
swimming it
is not his forplay
but
rope swing!
choke horsie!
gurgle gurgle gurgle goes the choking horsie
and Zanzibar did it i know he did it i watched him do it!
rope swing!
choke horsies
all good horsies drink it dry
wet their mouths and close their eyes
all good horsies drink it dry
quench their thirst on human life
good horsies, drink it dry!

This album would be more aptly named "Hits From The Bow II: Hits From The Stern". It so hearkens back to that first album that changed the face of experimental metal. I can't believe I missed this 6 years ago, but I'm so glad it exists. 10/10. brineryte
Brilliantly unhinged hardcore-inspired songs that splinter expectations to smithereens with their split-second rhythm changes & wild vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 28, 2022
Polish trio Melisa combine elements of noise rock, grindcore, mathcore, and sludge with lyrics that balance between poetic and political. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 21, 2022

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
